Accounts receivable. Our warehouse legal liability policy provides coverage designed to help protect accounts receivable. For example, if a covered loss results in direct physical damage to a warehouse’s electronic records, warehouse legal liability coverage from The Hartford will provide up to $5,000 coverage for payment amounts due from customers that the policyholder is unable to collect. This coverage also provides warehouses with coverage to help cover costs to restore and replace missing accounts receivable records.
Valuable papers, data, and software. In addition to accounts receivable coverage, our warehouse legal liability insurance policy provides coverage for valuable papers, data, and software. In the event that valuable papers, data and software are lost, damaged or destroyed, warehouse liability insurance from The Hartford can provide up to $10,000 to restore, repair, replace, or reproduce them.
Physical loss or damage to new property. Warehouse operators legal liability insurance from The Hartford includes up to $500,000 to cover a policyholder’s legal liability for direct physical loss or damage to newly acquired, covered property for up to 90 days.
Damage or loss of fixtures and equipment in leased buildings. Our warehouse liability insurance automatically includes $25,000 to cover direct physical damage to, or loss of, fixtures and equipment that are installed in a leased or rented building.
