Regardless of what you do or where you work, many employees have access to a variety of paid and unpaid Leave benefits. Knowing what you can be eligible for, and how it all works can help you know your options when faced with the unexpected.

For example, several states and the federal government have passed new laws to enact emergency Paid Leave in response to COVID-19. You may also be eligible for other types of Leaves, like Paid Family Leave or unpaid, job-protected Leave. Your employer may also offer special programs to allow you to take time away from work for vacations or extended Leaves of Absence.
