WebTPA is a vendor that provides administrative services to The Hartford’s Group Benefits division. WebTPA has informed The Hartford that an unauthorized actor accessed WebTPA systems that contained data for insureds enrolled in The Hartford’s Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Accident, Medicare Supplement and Tricare products. The Hartford has confirmed that our systems and other products were not impacted by this cybersecurity incident.
All impacted individuals will receive notice of the data security incident from WebTPA via mail.
Protecting the security and confidentiality of customers’ personal information is a top priority at The Hartford.
