Helping Our Home City

Headquartered in Hartford, we’ve called Connecticut’s capital our home for more than 200 years. We’re committed to supporting our namesake city and our neighbors who live here. That's why we continue to invest resources to help Hartford stay vibrant and sustainable, especially in the Asylum Hill neighborhood where our Main Campus resides.

Making Homeownership More Accessible

Making Homeownership More Accessible

As a founding partner and major funder of the Northside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance (NINA), we are helping to increase access to homeownership in the Asylum Hill neighborhood. Our financial support has reduced blight and will accelerate $10 million of revitalization in the neighborhood through 2026.
Providing Equitable Access to Higher Education

Providing Equitable Access to Higher Education

We’re proud to support 50 UConn Hartford students, who are residents of the City of Hartford through The Hartford Scholars program. The program provides funding that covers the gap between a student’s existing financial aid package and their remaining tuition amount, allowing them to attend UConn Hartford tuition-free for four years. The first cohort is expected to graduate in spring 2025 and the second in spring of 2026.
Improving Access to Essential Resources for Families

Improving Access to Essential Resources for Families

As a long-standing partner of The Village for Families and Children, we are helping hundreds of families find greater emotional and financial stability. Through The Village’s Emergency Assistance Fund, our most vulnerable neighbors are securing the financial support they need to feed their families, pay their bills and stay safe.
