Susan Johnson has been The Hartford's Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion officer at The Hartford since 2013. Prior to joining The Hartford, Johnson led global talent, diversity and HR functions at Pitney Bowes Inc. Under her leadership, Pitney Bowes was selected the #1 company for diversity by DiversityInc. She has also held a variety of human resource management positions at Pepsi-Cola and Campbell Soup Company. Johnson’s experience includes participation in local, state and national political campaigns, as well as work on domestic policy and management issues in the public sector. She is a graduate of Spelman College and received a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University.
