Many companies have vision statements. They are, they are very important. Sometimes they can be corny or a cliché, or a lofty or romanticized and I get that. But a vision statement, as short and sweet as it can be, I think is a very, very important thing. And the reason why it's not just to keep your employees motivated. It's to keep you motivated. It's so that when you're getting out of bed every day you – no matter how many years you have been doing what you're doing, you need the reminder yourself. I know I do. Like, why am I doing this? 'Cause every business owner asks themselves that question all the time. And, of course, there's something about earning, you know, an income and I'm doing this for a living, you know, but look, you know, I could take a job somewhere and be doing this for a living, right? Why am I doing this thing? Oh, yeah. I remember. When I first started up this business it was because I really wanted to provide great software to great companies to help them become more profitable. That was the – you know, that's what I always wanted to do 15 years ago, and that's still important now. And sometimes you forget that when you're running a business. But if you have a written out vision statement somewhere where you can see it and if you're actually saying that to your employees, you know, it, it's not just to help them but it's really to help yourself, to keep you focused and to remember, you know, why you're doing what you're doing.
